Overall very great experience when you go there is like a different vibe than any other place. The food portions are very very big like we were 3 and couldn't finish the platter for 2. Friendly staff. Good prices i would recommend to visit there and i will visit more my self.

Great environment, nice and customer focused staff and most importantly great food. The steak was perfectly cooked and salad was a fresh taste in my pallet. Dessert was great too but a bit too sweet for me. I can’t believe these were all for just $55. Obviously plus drinks and tax…

Had a year end work dinner and was not disappointed. We ordered the Experience Plus for a group of 8 and that was more than enough food to handle. The highlights were the brisket and fried chicken…but everything was really good. They included a lot of sides, and the drinks were great. TIP: get there early to take advantage of their happy hour drink specials!

Okay. There brisket was really good. Corn bread was good. Shrimp too salty but they remade it with larger shrimp but also too salty but it was better. Waitress were all nice. Total was $100 after tips for 2 people which was good.

Had an evening meeting nearby and needed to grab dinner. But wanted something nice. The pictures do NOT do the aesthetic justice. It’s a SUPER tall ceiling with beautiful sound-eating design. I ate a quiet meal alone as a business traveler as 80 people yapped away for the (astoundingly affordable) happy hour. For real. My #Oysters were not the usual Pelee Points…these were expertly shucked Lucky Limes for 1/2 the price of St.Lawrence Market raw! My waiter made an expert call, I didn’t want to eat a steak before my presentation…. Lovely call. Coming back with clients and friends.

I've transported many Wheel-Trans customers to this restaurant and they would tell me every time how amazing it was, I must come here. I finally made it and wow, all of the positive reviews and conversations I've had were absolutely true. From the incredibly unique decor, to thier great comfortable layout and let's not forget their happy hour deals, this restaurant is exactly what you need after a hard days work, social outing or event. Thier portions are huge, tasty and absolutely delicious. Ofcourse their happy hour menu is a huge plus. Our server, Lisa, was phenomenal. Incredibly friendly, happy to help us decide on what to order and she took the time to tell about the history of The Carbon Bar's history. Did you know this was the location of the original Electric Circus. This restaurant is a must if you're downtown and looking for an amazing dining experience at a very reasonable cost. See you all again soon.

One of my favourite BBQ spots in the city. The ribs and brisket are tender and fall off the bone. The seasoning is flavour filled and their signature carbon bar sauce is a must! I love the espresso BBQ sauce the most. They have prix fixe menus during the week and it's a great value for the food quality of food you're getting.

Upscale BBQ is the best description. Everything was great but pricy. Went here almost a year ago and unfortunately don't remember much about it. I really liked the pepper appetizer though. Nonasian restaurants that can put vegetables on a plate without overdosing it with sauce and have it taste good gets a thumbs up in my book.

​If you’re looking for a spot that actually delivers on the "barbecue-as-an-experience" promise, The Carbon Bar remains one of the best in the area. ​We came in as a group of four—all pretty hungry—and opted for a full spread of the ribs and brisket. The seasoning was spot-on; you can tell they aren't just relying on sauce to do the heavy lifting. The meat had that perfect bark and tenderness you'd expect from a high-end pit. For sides, the fries were crisp and the greens provided a much-needed fresh contrast to the rich proteins. ​For the "not-drinking" crowd, the Georgia Peaches (their peach and lemon mocktail) is a standout. It’s vibrant and refreshing without being overly sweet, which is a rare find in a mocktail. ​Save room for dessert. No, seriously. The chocolate mousse (The "Old School" Chocolate Mousse) is decadent, and the Banoffee Pie—rich with dulce de leche and pecans—is the perfect finisher. ​The atmosphere is high-energy and stylish, making it a great pick for a group night out. If you haven't been yet, it’s absolutely worth the visit.

The restaurant and atmosphere are amazing, very warm and welcoming. The service was exceptional, and the food... Easily some of the best BBQ I've had outside of Texas, with a more refined presentation and dining experience overall; Fine Dining BBQ. The Pitmaster Platter was too much food, but in the best way possible! Everything; the appetizers, platter, and sides had such an incredible taste, and the meat was beautifully tender. The desert was exceptional as well, my favorite in a long time!
